The original concept for the “kennel free boarding” environment we provide here at Critter Creek Inn, began almost by accident in May of 2002. We were looking for a place to board our two dogs so we could attend an out of town wedding, but the commercial kennels we visited were too confining and stressful and the in-home pet sitters we met with didn’t inspire us with the confidence we expected. So we ended up not going to the wedding, and instead took our dogs to the coast. And over that weekend, while watching our pups playing on the beach with other like minded dogs, the inspiration for Critter Creek Inn was born!
